       About Us
We are a company that strives to advance the sport of figure skating through the use of technology and education. We are honored to be the sole producer of the U.S. Olympic Team Official Licensed Figure Skating Instructional Video Series. We only sell what we consider to be the best. As of now we produce and carry instructional videos and blades. In the future we are looking to expand into other areas. It takes time and research for us to rank equipment/instruction.

        History
Charles Butler founded the company Physics On Ice in April 2002. He started with one instructional video, now known as Volume 1. Physics On Ice. He recieved the endorsement of the PSA for this highly acclaimed production. The video went on to be a huge success and is now sold in over 25 countries. Demand for more videos teaching quality on ice became apparent. Charles then spent the next couple of years planning and researching for his next volumes. In 2005, Charles founded Ultimate Skate LLC and this new company acquired Physics On Ice. After years of work, his new videos would finally hit the market under Ultimate Skate LLC in November 2005. Charles Butler is currently attending Medical School at New York University.

Ultimate Skate LLC gained prestige as soon as it was licensed by the US Olympic Committee for its instructional video series in late 2005. Ultimate Skate then expanded its product line to include what is arguably the most advanced figure skating blade technology in the world.

A Letter From Our Founder - Charles Butler

Dear visitor,
Thank you for your interest and time. I am currently attending Medical School at New York University. I look forward to practicing Medicine in a few years. Your purchase will help fund my education. I can't wait to develop the skills and knowledge to make the sick well, and bring a higher quality of life to my community.
Some of my skating achievements include becoming the first American Ice Dance team to win the World Junior Championships, placing 2nd at the 1998 National Championships, competing in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games and placing 4th at the 1998 Goodwill Games. I started coaching for fun in the fall of 1996 and retired in 2006. I was honored to have the opportunity to impact my students' lives in a positive way by teaching them discipline, integrity, and good sportsmanship.
In my spare time you can usually find me at the gym working out. I also enjoy hockey, football, water-skiing, martial arts, and playing the piano. Most of my time is spent studying though... When I find time I volunteer at a Children's Hospital. I also work for Ronald McDonald House, representing the USOC, helpi
